Suma (Pfaffia glomerata), an indigenous plant to South America, is known as Brazilian ginseng. The root of the plant is used as a healing agent, tonic and aphrodisiac. Suma root is said to regulate and enhance the endocrine, nervous, digestive, cardiovascular and immune systems. More commonly Suma has been used to provide physical stamina and endurance, as well as enhance memory.
