Angelica is a herb used extensively in the treatment of fevers, colds, coughs and stomach disorders.
Angelica is a very good tonic herb for women and children.
According to folklore, the herb got it's name from a story of an angel who came to Earth to save humanity from a deadly plague. The angel told the people to hold a piece of Angelica root in their mouths and the plague was eradicated.
Instructions Add 1/2 teaspoon to hot water and brew for 10 minutes. Add honey if required.
Note: Angelica should not be taken in large quantities by pregnant women.
